We invite you to our Commencement Day. We are coming to the end of a very successful year at Illuminated Academy of Texas. For your convenience, please note the schedule below.
Thursday, May 28, 2009 – School closed at 12:00 noon for preparation of Commencement program. Please pickup your children on time
Thursday, May 28, 2009-- Commencement Exercises 6:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m; Dinner 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Friday, May 29, 2009 – No School for children; Staff Closing Day
The Principal will present the diploma and other awards after our guest speaker Shaikh Nader Elmarhoumi, Imam, Islamic Society of San Marcos. Brother Fayez Mohammed of IAT Board will make concluding remarks.
It would be greatly appreciated if everyone in the audience would remain seated during the entire program, out of respect to our children and guests. If small children accompany you, please make sure they are not left unsupervised. During the award ceremonies, when you wish to show appreciation or pleasure in something, we would like to suggest that you remember to say "Allahu Akbar." This will increase the rewards for the children and help to reinforce their Islamic education. All students are required to be in neat, clean, and proper uniform. The girls wear a white scarf. Please make sure all graduating students arrive at 5:45 p.m. sharp in order to be ready to start the program on time.
Last, we would like to thank all of you who were mentioned and those of you, who were not mentioned that struggled, assisted and encouraged the staff of IAT in an often-difficult task. Thank you for your generosity, time and just for being around when we needed you. You helped us to function and to accomplish the duties we are accountable for.
May Allah guide all of us. May our children remain healthy and strong, and may the spirit and love of Islam be nurtured in their hearts and in ours, InshaAllah.

Take a right on Palm Valley and make a left at first traffic light which is Mays street and make a right at first traffic light which is East Bowman Road.
