Construction Update

Wastewater Line Work is Completed.
Construction experienced members of the community provided direct supervision. This helped in bringing down total cost for the work.

Received bids were in the range of $11,934 to $20,539. Final cost of WWL came to $3,553 (with the help from Saeed Minhas of Sam Builders)

Next phase is excavation & haul-off. This is already underway.

Please keep away from the construction fence and don't allow children to play near it.

Help for Refugees in Swat, Pakistan This Fri!

Austin Muslims, with help from Hidaya Foundation (www.hidaya.org) are launching an effort to support hundreds of thousands of (internally displaced) refugees in Swat, Pakistan. The project will be entirely run by high school and college students of Austin, under the guidance of Hidaya Foundation.

Tax receipts will be given by NAMCC upon request. Let us clean our closets and garages and bring items (listed below) to fill an 18-wheeler container that will be shipped to Pakistan for distribution among men, women and children living in sub-optimal condition in camps, away from their homes.
