Eid Announcements

1. Eid Parking this year is $5 / car if purchased in advance. Eid parking tickets are available at NAMCC, ICBC, ICRR and Shalimar in advance now to avoid any delays during the Eid day. Eid prayer this year will be at the North Austin Events Center (aka Crockett Center) insha Allah. On the day of Eid it will cost $10 / car as cash only. Eid parking ticket also has a coupon for $5 off if used at Shalimar!
2. Please pay your Zakat-ul-Fitr asap so it can be distributed accordingly to the needy of Austin prior to EID day. It is $8 / person for each person in the household.

This year's Ramadan program includes:

• Complete recitation of Qur'an during Taraweeh in 20 rakats by esteemed guest Hafiz Abdul Samad from Chicago
• Quranic Gems: insights from each part of the Quran recited each night immediately after Isha
• Youth Taraweeh program: Salah, Dua, Talks, Discussion, Trivia and More for Boys and Girls age 10-20
• Daily Iftar & Dinner
• Iman lectures: "Fuel Your Spirit" lecture series Saturdays after Zhuhr (2pm)
• Daily Quran Halaqah after Fajr
• Last 10 nights: I'tikar and Tahajjud prayers followed by Suhoor meal at 4am starting Sept 1st
• Imam Islam available for questions, consultation, counseling etc. daily between Asr and Maghrib

School Note For Eid Religious Holiday

Public schools grant a religious holiday for Eid to Muslim students. Please present this note before Eid, to the teacher and she will not mark your child as being absent on Eid day. [click here]
