Dear Community Members,
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
As salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmatu Allah,
Dear respected voting members of NAMCC;
At last week’s NAMCC general assembly meeting held on Saturday 10/22/2016, we have explored the three possible alternatives for our new masjid building.
Many members were eager to start the new Masjid building based on the cost effective alternative number three (ALT 3) and they urged us to begin the process of construction (starting with reinforcing the garage structure, expanding the conceptual plan into a complete architectural plan and obtains permits).
In response to this community request, we are planning a shura meeting to gauge the support for such a proposal and to initiate the project should a majority vote for the proposal.
Please plan to attend a GA Shura meeting next Tuesday November 1, 2016, immediately following Maghreb prayer at NAMCC multipurpose hall.
The Shura meeting will be brief and you will be asked to vote on:
- Start our new Madjid construction project ALT3 — YES or NO
- Start the construction of the north parking lot — YES or NO
The voting will be in writing and the votes will be counted in the presence of all those who would like to be present. If the projects are approved, a construction project management team will be assembled and work will begin. If the projects are not approved, they will be reexamine again during Q1, 2017.
As per the constitution, this is only for voting members of NAMCC and there is no quorum requirement for this Shura meeting. Therefore, the Shura meeting will be conducted on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 regardless of the number of attendees.
We urge you to attend and participate in this important and exciting event in which we plan and construct for your children and ours!! for a proud generations of Muslims to come, Insha-Allah!!
We ask Allah SWT to make us recognize the truth as being the truth and grant us the wisdom to strictly adhere to it. We ask Allah SWT to make us recognize falsehood as being falsehood and grant us the wisdom to strictly avoid it. Ameen.
Was salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmatu Allah
Jazakum Allah Khair
